Well, Today is Colonel Harlan Sanders' birthday. We celebrate that 125 years ago a man from Louisville came into this world and truly lived the American Dream. The actual recipe for Kentucky Fried Chicken remains buried six feet underground somewhere near Louisville, Kentucky...and it's made of 11 herbs and spices. I'm basically Elly Mae Clampet in the kitchen... :D The little nugget that I found while preparing this story kind of blew me away though.... The Colonel sold his business in the 1960s for only $2 Million. Sold in over 80 countries.
