A former Montgomery County official accused of stealing $60 thousand in public funds faces two years in prison under a plea deal with the Attorney General's Office. However, the sentence of 40-year-old Myra Chenault of Mt. As part of the deal, Chenault agreed to repay the money and give up her law license. The funds Chenault was accused of misappropriating were administered by the Administrative Office of the Courts. The scheme took place between January 2013 and September 2014, when she was Montgomery County Master Commissioner.
